Craftmanship
Awards - WoodCentral sponsors an ongoing series of contests
open to amateur woodworkers. Entries are judged on the
basis of photos and descriptions of the pieces as submitted by
entrants. A small entry fee is required.
Delta
Machinery Promotions - There is always some kind of deal at
Delta. These include cash rebates and free accessories with the
purchase of a tool as well as the occasional free tool drawing.
Delta is also a sponsor of the Ultimate Woodworker's Week
Sweepstakes, which awards 20 weekly prizes -- a choice of a
Delta or Porter-Cable tool and a Woodworking Library from Fine

Dewalt Tool
Giveaway - Dewalt periodically sponsors drawings for free
power tools. Past prizes have been pretty nice. Example: DW715

Furniture
Design Contest - Every year American Furniture Design awards
a prize to the woodworker who creates the best piece of
furniture. Past prizes have included plunge routers, chisel
sets, and a Grizzly table saw. To enter, you will need to supply
two color photos of your piece, a front view and a side view
along with a description of the materials that you used.
Oliver Machine's "Birth Certificate" Drawing - Do you have
an old machine made by Oliver Machinery Company and don't have
